FEMA approves aid for growing Nebraska wildfire
On 2026-06-14, FEMA approved a Fire Management Assistance Grant for the growing South Fork Fire in northwest Nebraska near Fort Robinson State Park. The fire had burned more than 32,000 acres, threatened Crawford and historically significant structures at the park, and prompted new evacuation orders.
